JOHNNY A. MARTINEZ, 65, a resident of Tierra Amarilla, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents; Luis and Rafelita Martinez; sister, Donaciana Herrera; brothers, Luis and Joe Mary Martinez and nephew, Don Herrera, Alex Herrera. Mr. Martinez is survived by his wife, Alice Martinez of Tierra Amarilla; sons, Rafelito Martinez and wife Susan of Arizona, Albert Martinez and wife Lisa of Tierra Amarilla, Mike Martinez and wife Maclovia of Arizona and Leroy Martinez and wife Carmen of Tierra Amarilla; sister, Lucy Martinez; nieces and nephews, Viola Herrera of Albuquerque, Maria Trujillo of Tierra Amarilla, Julie Herrera of Albuquerque and Evelyn Leyba of Canjilon, Steven and Ricky Herrera both of Lumberton; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 9:00 a.m. Burial to follow at 11:15 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
