John J. (Spider) Age - 78 - Sombrillo Gonzales

John J. Gonzales (Spider), 78, a resident of Sombrillo passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; daughter, Pamela; father, Matias; sister, Rose Dotson. He worked at Peabody Coal Mines in Kayenta, AZ for many years. He was also employed at Santa Fe County until his retirement. He had a love for art, carving and painting Kachinas and Santos. John loved to be outdoors and participated in the Senior Olympics. John is survived by his children: John Jr. (Kammie), Jonette Manskier; mother, Irene Gonzales; brother, Matias (Eloisa); daughter: Valerie Duran (Patrick); grandson, Jude Martinez; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Cremation has taken place. Cremation has taken place. Services are pending. Please call the funeral home for further information. Serving the family as honorary pallbearers will be all his grandchildren. The family of John J.
