JOHN F. SALAZAR, 52, a resident of Espanola originally of Youngsville, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017. John was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Salazar Sr.; brother, Robert “Bobby” Salazar, sister, Diana Salazar; Godson, Dylan Salazar; paternal grandfather, Liberato Salazar, maternal grandparents, Sabiniano Lovato and Delfinia Martinez. John was known to many as having a kind heart, he loved to laugh, dance and live life on the Edge. He was a hard worker and was a jack of all trades. He loved to build and was artistic. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. John is survived by his wife, Evelyn Salazar; daughters, Melanie Moya and Edin Chavarria, Desiree and Joylynn Moya; grandchildren, Joshua Trujillo, Deanica Moya, Marvin and Edin Chavarria, Shania Martinez, Mya Martinez, Bobbielynn Martinez and Haylee Lujan; mother, Connie Salazar; brother, Eddie Salazar Jr. and wife Grace, sisters, Lenore Salazar and Denise Salazar-Alexander and husband Ruben; paternal grandmother, Beatrice Salazar; God children, Robert Salazar, Jasmine Moya, and Kayla Padilla; sister-in-law, Elaine Moya and many nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the San Pedro Catholic Church in Youngsville, with a burial to follow at the Youngsville Catholic Cemetery.
