John John Gabriel Martinez a resident of Chimayo, New Mexico was born on February 2, 1975 and passed away unexpectedly on January 22, 2024. John is proceeded in death by his parents Ray and Viola Martinez. Maternal grandparents Santiago Lopez and Aurora Salazar. Paternal grandparents Stella Gonzales and Santiago Martinez. Godfather Armando Salazar.

John is survived by his loyal and faithful fur baby Tundra. His children Dylon Martinez (Aylin), Luke Martinez and Makrinna Garcia-Martinez. Siblings Eppie Martinez (Liza), Bernadette Jaramillo and Esperanza Martinez (Leo). Nieces and Nephews Kendall Jaramillo, Ashley Cook (Kyle), Eppie Martinez Jr. (Shana), Ricardo Martinez, Diego Martinez, Kyla Cook, Goddaughter/ special niece Neveah Jaramillo. Uncles and Aunts Henry Gonzales (Pauline), Danny Telles (Yvonne), Jimmy and Jillian. Godmother Lydia Salazar, God sisters Judy Trujillo, Bernadette Salazar and Beverly Gomez. Girlfriend Yvonne Medina. Mother of his children Nickole Garcia (Christopher) and Kathleen Martinez (Julian), Special cousin Josh Ortega, Special Aunty Darlene Johnson (Rick). Leading the pallbearers Goddaughter/Special niece Neveah Jaramillo. John was full of life and always the life of the party. He was often seen out dancing his heart out or at the low rider shows. John loved his being on his bike wearing his viejitos attire. John’s pride and joy were his boys Dylon and Luke. John wanted nothing more than to make sure his boys were taken care of and enjoyed all the things he did. John was a low rider enthusiast and auto mechanic. If John said you were a friend, then you were a friend for life. John loved his family and always did what he could to show what he could to support them. John was a diehard Broncos fan and raised his boys to be the same.

A public viewing for John John will be held on Friday February 16, 2024 at 6:00pm at Victory Faith Church in Espanola, NM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday February 17, 2024 at 10:00am at Victory Faith Church in Espanola, NM with the burial to follow in Chimayo, NM.
