Joey Lloyd - Age 25 - El Duende Maestas

Joey Lloyd Maestas, 25, a resident of El Duende passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 28, 2011. Joey loved to cook for his kids and loved his family. He enjoyed tractors especially John Deere, liked the outdoors and camping. Joey was a laid back man enjoying his time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd P. Maestas; grandparents, Joe and Stella Maestas, Edwardo and Adelina Salazar. Joey is survived by his children: Nehemiah Joey Garcia and Azariah Naziray Garcia; fiancé, Marlinda Garcia; mother, Evan M. Padilla and husband Leandro Padilla, (JR); sisters: Denise Martinez and husband Christopher and their children DeNae and Jayden, Joanie Maestas and fiancé Jason Padilla and their son Jayze; and many other relatives. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Victory Faith Church in Española with Pastor JD Miera officiating. A second memorial service will be held on Thursday. March 10, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at El Buen Pastor Church in Ranchitos with Pastor Danny Espinosa officiating.
