Joe Henry - Age 87 - Alcalde/Los Luceros - Pacheco

Joe Henry Pacheco, 87, a resident of Alcalde/Los Luceros, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Pacheco; son, Carl Pacheco; grandson, Andrew Casados. He is survived by his daughter, Mable Pereyra and companion Richard of Alcalde, Olivia Fernandez and companion Angel of Alcalde, Yolanda Pacheco and husband Fred Archuleta of Taos, sons, Herbert Pacheco and wife Esther of Colorado, and Henry Jr. and wife Endy of Albuquerque, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother and sisters, Gilbert Pacheco, Stella Vigil, Josie Tafoya, and Ruby Ortega and husband Tony, and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh, with a burial to follow at 2:15 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers Jeno Pacheco, Hector Pacheco, Eric Casados, Austin Casados, Joey Martinez, and Glenn Fernandez. The family of Joe Henry Pacheco has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
