JOE R. ROYBAL, 78, a resident of Peñasco, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andronico and Leonarda Roybal; in-laws, Willie and Eufelia Rodriguez; sisters, Eileen Esquibel and Rose Medina; brother, Albert Roybal; brother-in-law, Willie Rodriguez; niece, Andronica Gonzales and nephew, Rick Dominguez. Joe is survived by his wife, Lydia Roybal; daughter Elizabeth Roybal, son, Joe Roy (Candi) Roybal; grandchildren, Michael (Amanda), Timothy (Shiela), Destiny (Robert), Samuel (Heather), Jonathan (Maria), step-grandchildren, Derek (Samantha) and Dylan Lujan, great-grandchildren, AngelusJerome, AmethystJade, AlbianJames, Miguel Antonio, Daniel Andres and Robert Joe; sister, Virginia Roybal, brother, Ivan (Christine) Roybal; sister-in-law’s, Juanita Roybal (Carpio) and Ruby Rodriguez, brother-in-law’s, Wilbert Rodriguez and Obed Medina along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Peñasco Community Center with Rev. David Sipp officiating.
