Jody - age 42 - Ranchitos Garcia

\r\n \r\n \r\nJody L. Garcia, 42, a resident of Ranchitos passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his grandmother’s; Josephine Garcia Valdez, and Bernie Romero, grandfather; Anselmo Lopez, close aunt; Carla DeVargas, uncles; Benny and Dennis Lopez, and Godparents Jake and Lydia Maestas. Jody is survived by his companion Linda Valenzuela; his parents, Joseph and Lucille Garcia; 1 sister, Judy Garcia and companion Lawrence Lucero, brothers, Chris Taylor of California, Leroy Lopez and Jesus Garcia and companion (Debbie Sanchez); 2 special nephews, Justin Garcia and Johnny Garcia and companion (Terin Montero); aunt, Ersie Martinez (Eddie), and close family friends, Terry Atencio, and Leroy (Zom) Atencio as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with a burial to follow at the Holy Cross Catholic cemetery. The family of Jody Garcia has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
