Joan - Age 73 - San Pedro - Quintana

JOAN J. QUINTANA, 73, a resident of San Pedro, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stermer and Mr. and Mrs. Wes Tackette; in-law, Richard and Danielita Quintana and brother-in-law, Johnny Quintana. Mrs. Quintana is survived by her husband, Eliseo (Seo) Quintana of San Pedro; sons, Richard Eliseo and wife Michelle and their children, Danny and Alexandra, John Robert and wife Christine and their children, Travis and Tracie; daughter, Kristen and her son, Logan; parents, Mr. John F. Stermer of Arapaho, Oklahoma and Mrs. Frank T. Carroll, Jr of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, John R. Stermer and wife Gail, Frank T. Carroll; sisters of the heart, Elsie Davison, Loyce Holt, Jeannie Waulke and her daughter, Neeley and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial to follow at 12:45 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Matthew, Michael, Mark, Travis and Danny Quintana and Donaldo Naranjo. Honorary pallbearers include, John Daniel Naranjo, Manuel and Erlinda Quintana. The family of Joan J. Quintana has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
