J. Michael - Age 67 - Cuarteles - Lopez

J. MICHAEL LOPEZ, 67, a resident of Cuarteles, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abedon and Adelia Lopez; sister, Pita Montoya; brother, Tony D. Lopez; nephews, Leonard Montoya and Robert Lopez, who he loved as a son. Mr. Lopez is survived by his children, Tracy D. Lopez of Farmington, Christian D. Lopez and significant other Michelle Griego Vasquez of White Rock and Vanessa M. Lopez and significant other Aaron Dunn of Albuquerque; mother of his children, Cristella Trujillo-Neal; grandchildren, Brandon K. Romero of Albuquerque and Alesha Ann Lopez of White Rock and Isaiah Romero of Española; sisters, Jackie Varrato and husband Dave, Connie Maestas and Alice Maestas and husband Lolo; brother, Abedon Lopez, Jr. and wife Lorraine; special friend, LeeAnn Hargrave and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. The family of J. Michael Lopez has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
