Jimmy Dominguez, age 77, a resident of San Manuel, AZ, passed away in Tucson, Arizona on November 24, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents Nestor and Cipia Dominguez of Chimayo, brother Walter and a special brother in Christ Wray Ortiz.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Monce Dominguez, of 51 years; daughter Corinna (Brian) Crick of Tennesse; a son Sammy (Tiffany) Dominguez of Arizona; and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Gloria (Lupe) Garcia of Arroyo Seco, Esther (Luis) Morales of Texas and Bernice (Rosendo) Ortiz of Arizona; brothers Larry Dominguez of Chimayo and Louie Dominguez of Denver.
Jimmy loved coming to New Mexico to visit many relatives and friends in Truchas, Cordova and Chimayo where he spent much time in his early life.
Jimmy served in the US Army and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. Jimmy worked at Magma Copper/BHP for 27 years and 10 years for the Arizona Department of Corrections. He retired in 2010.
Jimmy was very passionate in sharing his faith with anyone he met He was a bold witness for God and never met a stranger. He loved helping people in their time of need.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Assembly of God Church in San Manuel, Arizona.
