Jill A. Baillie, 75, a resident of Los Alamos passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. She was born September 22, 1936 to Arthur and Lily Roades in Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire, England. Jill enjoyed being physically fit, hiking, and ballroom dancing, line dancing, boating and fishing any body of water anywhere in the world. She loved to travel all over the world, and was a very kind hearted woman and first to call on those who were in need. She was very religious and had many long term friends, and was a loving wife, mother and friend. Jill was preceded in death by her parents; younger sister, Paula; 3 children: Boyd, Toni and Tina. Jill is survived by her husband, John Baillie of Los Alamos; sisters: Pat Westernmann of Australia, Peggy Parkin of Woy Woy, New South Wales, Australia; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Los Alamos, 4542 Yucca St., Los Alamos, N.M. 87544, 505-662-0472.
