Jessie Clara Gonzales, 71 of Gallina, New Mexico, passed away on October 8,2024

Jessie Clara Gonzales was born on April 20,1953, to Lucy Valdez-Gonzales and Octaviano Gonzales in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jessie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Jessie loved and adored her children and grandchildren. Jessie lived life like the world was on fire. She loved to cook with her granddaughters, planting in her beautiful garden, sewing baby blankets, and hand towels and loved spending time with her partner in crime her little sister Lucille.

Jessie retired and spent her time living life like the world was on fire. She loved to cook with her granddaughters, watching her grandson in the boxing gym, planting in her beautiful garden, sewing baby blankets, and hand towels and loved spending time with her partner in crime her little sister Lucille.

Jessie was preceded in death by her baby girl Maria and parents Lucy Valdez-Gonzales and Octaviano Gonzales, her brothers Joe and Johnny Gonzales and her beloved Ralph Duran. She is survived by her two sons Joseph Aragon and Michael Gonzales Sr. As well as her three grandchildren Kristeena, Jessica, and Michael Gonzales Jr. Her Siblings Shirley Cordova, Mary Gonzales, Cordilia Gonzales, Peter Gonzales, Lucille Gonzales and Bertha O’Keefe. As well as her many beloved nieces and nephews.

Laying Jessie to rest honorary pallbearers Michael Gonzales Jr, Aiden Walther, Peter Gonzales and Filbert Salaz. Pallbearers are J.R Lopez, Anthony Darrington, Victor Cordova, Sammy Joe Cordova, Clarence Morales, and Ted Martinez. 

A Public Visitation will be on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10:30 am, Rosary at 11:00 am and Mass is at 12:00 pm all at Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, in Gallina, New Mexico. Interment will follow at Capulin Community Cemetery in Capulin.
