Jessica Valdez

Jessica Klarissa Valdez (Shy Girl), 30, a resident of Nambe, passed away unexpectedly on November 14, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her father Bernardino " Benny" J Valdez, grandparents, Castelita Valdez and Francis Benitez, great-grandparents Jose and Esquipula Valdez and Willie and Eliza Apodaca, Uncle Mario Valdez, Great Aunt and uncles Flaviano and Celia Herrera, Emiterio and Amilia Vigil, Teofila and Ruperta Lopez. Great cousins, Gerald Vigil, Stephanie, Manuelita, Vanessa, Phillip Herrera.

She attended Pojoaque Valley Schools. She had a passion for cooking, and baking for all her family and friends. Was very kind and passionate to others. She loved to go to the lakes, especially loved to be with her mother and brother.

Jessica Klarissa Valdez is survived by her mother Lisa M Chavez (Joseph), brother Santiago Valdez, sister Angelic Lopez Valdez, her fiance Estevan Montoya, Grandpa Ben Valdez, Jose Valdez (Leslie), Gilbert Valdez (Patsy), Esquipula J. Valdez and wife Viola, Virginia Romero; cousins, James, Gilbert, Robert, Andrew, Benny, Maria Valdez, Tammy Salinas, and Santiago Lopez, uncles; Tim Chavez (Rhonda), Raul Gutierrez (Michelle Curtis), Emilio Benitez and other numerous family members.

Public Visitation will take place on November 30, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at De Vargas Funeral Home, followed by Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe on December 6, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., and burial to follow at Nambe Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Herrera, James Valdez, and Gilbert Valdez.
