Jesse L. Pelham, 85, – a resident of San Pedro passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010 with his loving wife at his side. Mr. Pelham was a World War II Veteran having served in the Navy, he was a retired tug boat captain and belonged to the American Legion. Jesse worked at Furrs Grocery, Lowe’s Super Save, Walmart, Cities of Gold in the restaurant, and Okhay Casino in the Harvest Café. He retired 25 monthes ago due to an illness. Pelham is survived by his wife Virgina Pelham of the family home, his daughter; Gilda Clark, four step-sons; Chuck Kotofsky, Joseph Kotofsky, Dwight Kotofsky, Gregory Kotofsky; five granddaughters; four grandsons; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; many other relatives & friends. Jesse will be missed by many loved ones.
