It is with great sadness that the family of JERRY ARCHULETA announces his passing on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 following a brief illness.

A native of Los Alamos, Jerry attended Los Alamos High School and went to the College of Santa Fe. He then went on to work for Zia Company for 30 years before retiring.

Jerry will be missed everyday by his mother, brothers and sister. Jerry had a passion for sports, especially for the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and Sudoku. He loved visits from his nieces and nephews and taking care of the family cat, Stormy.

He is survived by his mother, Yosina Archuleta; brothers, John Archuleta and wife Debbie and James Archuleta of Los Alamos; and sister, Sally Preston and husband Dean of White Rock.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Archuleta of Los Alamos and sister, Lori Fisher of Albuquerque.

Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Monday, February 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos. Burial to follow at the Guaje Pines Cemetery.

The family of Jerry Archuleta has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
