Jerome N. Sanchez, 29, of Lyden passed away on September 8, 2010, is now resting peacefully in Gods arms. Jerome was a very loving and caring person. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Antonio and Sarita Sanchez; uncle, Leandro Sanchez; godmother & Aunt, Rita Dominguez; uncle, Leroy Cordova. Jerome is survived by his parents, Leo and Yolanda Sanchez; brother and sister, Gabriel and Victoria Sanchez; maternal grandmother, Emilia Garcia; paternal aunts: Tina S. Vigil, Rose Saiz and husband Tom; paternal uncle, Richard Sanchez and wife Romanita; maternal aunts: Vangie Hoover, Molly Roman, Barbara Cordova, Joann Lucero and husband David; maternal uncle, Michael Garcia; godfathers: Pete Dominguez, Peter Mascarenas; goddaughter, Clarissa Romero; numerous cousins, family & friends. Public visitation on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with A Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 1: 00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Velarde, New Mexico. Burial to follow at Velarde Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Leo Marquez, Randy Saiz, Edward Garcia, Kenny Archuleta, Nelson Sanchez, Chris Esquibel; honorary pallbearers: Sandra Gonzales, Mariah Urbina, Trasia Garcia, Cyara Garcia, Paulette Romero, Mike Marquez, Victor Sanchez, Luis Cordova, Joe Anthony Herrera, Steve Martinez.
