Jerome Alex - Age 37 - Los Luceros Reynolds

JEROME ALEX REYNOLDS, also known as “Tweety” for his bright blue eyes, 37, a resident of Los Luceros, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2012. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Benjamin Diaz; paternal grandfather, Lucas Reynolds; uncles, Lito Reynolds and Clarence Medina; aunt, Bernice Reynolds; maternal grandparents, Frank and Calicia Medina; cousins, Daniel and Christopher Martinez and Connie and Chris Reynolds. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend. He loved spending time with his family; they were his pride and joy. Jerome was compassionate and was always there for anybody that needed help. He loved his Lord and Savior and enjoyed all the time spent in fellowship and prayer. We thank Pastor Salomon Sanchez for his services and Steve Chavez for his music. He also enjoyed the great outdoors, basketball, working on custom vehicles and listening to music. Jerome will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him. Mr. Reynolds is survived by his parents, Charley and Betty Reynolds of Los Luceros; grandmother, Augustina Reynolds of Chimayo; loving sisters, Karen Diaz of La Villita and Annette Reynolds of Los Luceros; special niece who was the love of his life, Erica Miquella Diaz of La Villita; paternal aunts, Elsie Reynolds of Chimayo, Alice Fernandez and husband Walter of Albuquerque and Emma Gallegos and husband Luis of Hernandez; maternal aunts, Marcella Medina of Dixon, Dolores Sherman and husband David of Dixon, Helen Martinez and husband Amado of Velarde and Josie Medina of Dixon; cousins, Georgia and Derrick Fernandez of Albuquerque, Julie Gallegos of El Llano, Michelle Gallegos of Albuquerque, Freddie Medina, Clarence Medina Jr. and wife Laverne, Michelle Medina all of Dixon, Jacqueline Martinez and Alexandria Romero of Velarde, Cindy Quintana and fiancé Ted of Ojo Caliente and Christopher and Randy Reynolds of Dixon and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. Public visitation will begin on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a Memorial service at 7:00 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later time. The family of Jerome Alex Reynolds has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
