Jeremy Trujillo passed away suddenly Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the age of 35. Jeremy was a kind and loving person who always greeted you with his famous bear hugs, wrapped you in his long arms, and made you feel loved every time he saw you. He had an infectious smile that would light up any room he walked into.
Jeremy was born July 15, 1987. He graduated from Española Valley High School in 2005. He went on to further his education and became an electrical foreman. He worked for Pueblo Electric for 10 years where he was contracted to work many jobs with Los Alamos National Laboratory. He was recently promoted to a project manager and fully enjoyed his job. Jeremy excelled at any job or task that he came across and took pride in the work he performed.
Jeremy was an Hermano de la Morada de Nuestra Señora de Dolores in Chimayo New Mexico. He loved praying with his fellow Hermanos especially during the Lenten season. He would also provide his prayers during rosary services for members of the community.
Jeremy is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Melissa, paternal grandmother Susie Trujillo (Ernie), his father Jerry Trujillo (Della), siblings Diedrie Valdez (John), niece Arianna Valdez, brothers Kevin Salazar (Lauren) and JJ Trujillo (Matt), uncles Chris Trujillo (Elaine), Jose Salazar Jr. (Marina) who were also his Godparents, Larry Salazar, Jake Salazar (Dolly), Peter Salazar (Carol), Craig Greene, and Andrew Salazar (Cloudy), aunts Andrea Garcia (Joe) and Marian Diaz (Phil), mother of his daughter Meghan Lowery, and his “Once in a Lifetime Love” Maria, his forever friends “The Boods", and many special cousins, friends, and co-workers to Jeremy, every person in the world was just a friend he hadn’t met yet.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his mother Melissa Salazar, maternal grandparents Jose Guadalupe & Mary “Mella” Salazar, paternal grandfather Leo Trujillo, paternal great-grandparents Florentino & Virginia Trujillo, aunts Patricia Ruiz, Jeanette Greene, and Debbie Salazar, uncles Harold Salazar and Ronnie Salazar, and a very close cousin Jacob Salazar.

A Rosary will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Parish Church in Chimayo, NM. Mass will be at 2:00 pm. A private burial will be held on a later date.
Honoring the family as pallbearers are JJ Trujillo, Brandon Trujillo, Greg Isaacs, Alex Martinez, David Gonzales, Daniel Garcia, Andres Maestas, Cousin Kevin Salazar, Donavine Martinez and Drake Moya.
