Jeremy Bustos

\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Jeremy Eugene Anthony Bustos, born October 27, 1981, was called home to our Lord suddenly in the early morning hours of March 3, 2010. Jeremy was a member of a military family that traveled the world but settled back home in Albuquerque. He was the owner the Do It Yourself Auto in Albuquerque, a business he started from scratch and loved whole-heartedly. Prior to bringing his love and talents together to create his business he was a New Mexico corrections officer, a Best Buy delivery specialist and even a Pizza Hut master pizza maker! He was a graduate of St. Pius X High School class of 2000, where he excelled in art and guitar. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Alfonso and Olivia Bustos, and his cousin; Gabriel Fresquez. He is survived by his loving maternal grandparents, Fidel and Toni Alarid, his loving parents, Cathy Alarid, Eugene Bustos and wife Teresa, brother, Benjamin Bustos, his wife Tina Bustos, their sons, Christopher and Mario, aunt, Rose Alarid, aunt, Nathalie Edmonds, uncle, Urban Bustos, uncle, Pete Bustos, but most of all by his loving daughter, Elle Kady Olivia Bustos. We will miss you daddy, son, little brother, Nino, and grandson. Please keep us in you heart; you will always be in ours. “God saw him tired and his cure was not to be, so he put his arms around him and whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we watched him and saw him pass away, although we loved him dearly we could not make him stay. A golden heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.” – unknown. Cremation arrangements have taken place. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A second rosary will be recited on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church located at 5311 Phoenix Ave NE in Albuquerque. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will take place at the Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe. Assisting the family as pallbearers will be: Joseph Garcia, David Lopez, Johnnie Fresquez, Jamie Fresquez, Earl Edmonds, Eugene E. Garcia, Dave Johnson, Manny Valdez and Anthony Webb. Honorary pallbearers are: Christopher Bustos and Mario Bustos. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made for Elle Bustos’ educational fund which is being accepted at Sandia Labs Federal Credit Union.
