JENNIE E. SALAZAR, 91, a resident of Nambe, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Esquipula and Rita Salazar; brother, Bences Salazar; sisters, Bernie Garduño, Ruth Griego and Olympia Mondragon. Jennie worked as a hairdresser for 56 years and also enjoyed gardening and her cats. Ms. Salazar is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Rosary to be recited Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Nambe.
