Jeffery Scott Age - 40 Garcia

Jeffery Scott Garcia, 40, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011. He was born in Garden City, KS and grew up in Great Bend, KS. Jeffery was a loving husband, father, son, brother & loved by all who knew him. He was a wonderful & amazing artist. He enjoyed 4 wheeling and outdoor sports, a life member of the Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Manuel and Phyllis Garcia, Pete and Connie Maestas. Jeffery is survived by his wife, Jackie Chacon Garcia of Española; children: Robert Garcia, Jacob Garcia, Tianna Garcia all of Española and Kaylie Overturff of Oklahoma City, Ok; parents, Manuel and Karlene Garcia of Allen, TX; sister, Jackie Garcia of Goddard, KS; brothers: Manuel Garcia III and wife Faith of Waterloo, IA, Steven Garcia and wife Cinda of Wichita, KS; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces & friends. Rosary will be recited on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Canada with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz with the following serving as pallbearers: Ralph Sanchez, Alex Chacon, Bobby Martinez, Antonio Atencio, Eric Garcia and Michael Flory.
