Jeanette Jaramillo

Jeanette Darlene Jaramillo, age 59, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Daughter and Sister, was called to her eternal resting place on Friday, June 5, 2020. She entered this world on Sunday, November 6, 1960 in Santa Fe, NM, born to Locaria Jaramillo. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jose and Martina; aunts, Erminia, Luciana, Celsa, and Frances; uncles, Tito, Frugie, and Joe. She is survived by her daughter, Angelina (Jerome); son, Marcos; mother, Locaria Jaramillo; brothers, Anthony (Terry), Gerald (Susan), John (Cindy); sisters, Carla (Andrew), Jesusita (Paul); grandchildren, Arianna (Robert), Amber; one great-grandson, Zayden; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Jeanette was a Master Barber and truly enjoyed getting to know her clients. She worked for Hair Experts in Los Alamos for over 20 years. She was an impeccable artist, you could always find her painting or drawing. Those who knew Jeanette described her as warm, authentic, compassionate, patient, and generous. Her sweet, gentle spirit will be missed. The Jaramillo family would like to offer a special Thank You to Jeanette’s caretaker, Rosa Guttierez for caring for Jeanette for over 10 years. Mrs. Maria Vigil also visited Jeanette weekly for prayer and comfort. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory.
