Jamie M. Trujillo, 42, of Vadito/Dixon, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020. Jamie was preceded in death by his mother Debbie Lopez-Romero, father James Trujillo; grandmothers, Frances Romero and Alice Lopez, grandfathers Levi Trujillo, and Felix Ortega; close cousins, Virginia “Gina” Lopez, Victor and Praxcedes Gonzales; God father Marcos Burciaga; grandfather/mother in law Moises and Matilde Romero; aunt Evelyn Gonzalez, uncles Nelson Montoya and Andrew Trujillo.
Jamie was a very honest and loving person. There was nothing he loved more than his family. His family is truly what he lived for. Jamie was known for his hard work and dedication. He gave his all with each and every job he did. Everyone could always count on Jamie for a helping hand. No matter what it was and no matter what the circumstances were, he was always there. Jamie had a love for the outdoors. On his free time you could find him going for wood, fishing, camping, at a family gathering or at the Casino.
Jamie is survived by his wife of twenty years Victoria Romero; daughters, Lastarlafay Trujillo (Dylan V.), Verdagean Trujillo (Dylan C.), Alejandra Trujillo, Makayla Trujillo, and Kyla Trujillo; grandson, NiahMiah Valdez; father, Rumaldo Romero; sister, Florence Sanchez (Leon Garcia); cousin raised as a brother Frankie Lopez (Juliet), Jason (Heather), and Darlene (Ronald); special prima, Vera Ortiz; nephews, Dwayne Sanchez Jr. (Alyssa) and Dominick Trujillo, nieces Breanna Sanchez, Danielle Trujillo, Leticia Romero, Neveah, Destiny and Dannielynn Trujillo, great niece and nephew Adalyn and Owen; God Son, Uriah Gonzales; grandmother, Gregoria Trujillo and grandfather Nick Lopez; God mother, Gloria Burciaga (Rumaldo); aunts, Lina Sandoval, Nina Torrez (Lawrence), Evelyn Martinez (Dennis), Sarah Chavez (Alfred), Frances Romero, Cleo Hernandez and late husband Manuel, Viola Escobar (Joe), and Julia Lopez, closes uncles, Rudy Romero, Frutoso Trujillo (Charlene), Joe Romero (Martha), David Romero (Susie), David Lopez (Angela), and Celestino Romero; mother-in-law Sandra Romero (Daniel), brother-in-laws Joey Romero (Anita), Peter Gonzales (Anna), Jaime Gonzales (Bianca); sister-in-law. Flor Gonzales and many other family and friends not mentioned. The family would like to thank everyone who has reached out, and brought food and gifts during this difficult time. A private burial will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Apostolic Cemetery in Dixon. Due to COVID-19 restrictions families are asked to remain within social distancing.
