James Brian Chambers, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at his home in Arroyo Seco surrounded by his family. James is survived by his children, Blue Aria (Evan)MacHardy of Taos, New Mexico, Brooke Devin Chambers-Garver of Taos, New Mexico, Cole Bryan Chambers of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Carter Lynne Chambers of Buffalo, New York; his grandchildren, Tyler Owen MacHArdy, Chloe Blue MacHardy, Sienna Grace Sategna, and Luca James Garver of Taos, New Mexico;
his sister, Sholan Mary Chambers, of Taos, New Mexico and his brother William John Chambers of Indianapolis Indiana
He was preceeded in death by his mother Wilma Seatta Dixon, his father William John Chambers, and his Sister Kathy of Taos, New Mexico James was born in Oneida, New York on January 18, 1950. He attended college in SantaBarbara and came to Taos in the late 70’s. He raised a family and finished his career in Indianapolis Indiana. During his final years of life he was able to pursue his dream of spending his retirement in his home n the beautiful mountains of Taos. He especially enjoyed hiking, road trips, reading, spending time with his children and grandchildren and enjoying the southwest culture and architecture. There will be a ceremony to honor his life at his home in Arroyo Seco, New Mexico. Services are pending at this time and will be posted as soon as they become available.
