Jacqueline Ann Lewis "Jackie"

Jacqueline Ann Lewis “Jackie”, 59, a resident of Fairview, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was born on November 7, 1958 in Fort Hood, Texas. Jackie was greeted by her parents, Jack and Lydia Lewis; maternal grandmother, Gretrude Talalacy; paternal grandparents, Reason Alonzo and Minnie Lewis and special aunt and uncle, Ramon E. and Alberta Salazar. Jackie was a member of the Holy Family Society of Ranchitos, Capilla de San Miguel. She was a massage therapist and excelled at her craft. Jackie was one of a kind. She lent her hand to all that needed her help and never once turned anyone down. Her family held her hand during her life and watched her thrive in all that she loved to do. She had so many true friends and was a beautiful person inside and out. We will miss her tremendously and we look forward to the day when we will once again join hands. My dearest darling sister, how can I find the words to say, to tell of how I miss you throughout every single day? I miss our little chats, the way you’d listen to me moan, and how you’d always cheer me up whenever you would phone. Living life without you is so very hard to bear, and I’d give all I have to waken and to see you standing there. Jackie leaves behind her siblings, Liz, Michael and Chuck; nephews, Christopher, Charlie (Gina) and Zachary; Godson and nephews, Cory Lewis (Tracey Garcia) and Aaron Lewis; nieces, Ashlynn Ann and Zoe Lewis, Rheanna Romero Sandoval (Kyle), Khareena Sandoval and Taylor Alexis Lewis and two very special friends, Pat Witt and Peggy Pingston, who held a very special place in her heart. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Santa Cruz. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Zachary Lewis, Christopher Lewis and Cory Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Witt, Peggy Pingston, Dolores Medina, Diane Thompson, Ashlynn Lewis, Rheanna Romero Sandoval, Zoe Lewis and Taylor Alexis Lewis. The family of Jacqueline Ann Lewis “Jackie” has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
