Ivan Vigil

Ivan Isaiah Vigil, 25, a resident of Chimayo, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Ivan was preceded in death by his father, Billy W. Vigil; grandparents, Aurelia and Armando Vigil, Manuel Encinas and Jose Romero. Ivan enjoyed spending time with his son Isaiah, who was his pride and joy. He loved fishing and working with vehicles. Ivan’s favorite motto he lived by was, “Live life to the fullest, do the good not the bad.” Ivan is survived by his son, Isaiah Vigil; mother, Yvonne Encinas; siblings, Caprice Vigil, Matthew Encinas and Josie Encinas; uncles, Manuel E. Encinias Andrew Encinas (Roberta), Mike Lucero (Elizabeth) and Joseph Encinas (Roxanne) and cousin, Andrea Encinas. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday July 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family catholic church in Chimayo with a burial to follow at Nuestra senora de Dolores catholic cemetery in Chimayo. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Caprice Vigil, Matthew Encinas, Berna Chavez, Caitlin Grava, Kenneth Pacheco and AJ Esquibel.
