Isaiah Earl - Age 24 Apodaca

ISAIAH EARL APODACA, 24, a resident of Velarde, went peacefully to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 15, 2013. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Cora Martinez of Truchas; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Lorraine Apodaca and aunt, Theresa Apodaca all of Velarde. Isaiah graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Electro Mechanical Technology in 2007 from UNM LA. Isaiah enjoyed going camping, fishing, riding the 4 wheeler and going hunting with grandpa, uncle and pops. He always looked forward to Heaven Fest in Denver with Pops. Isaiah was a Momma’s Boy and proud of it. Isaiah being the only child was very close to his mom right up to the very end. He had another love in his life, her name is Chassity Pacheco, he loved being with her and they enjoyed traveling to different places. Isaiah is survived by his companion, Chassity Pacheco of Española; mother, Annette Apodaca and companion David Lujan of La Mesilla; father, Earl Apodaca and companion Audrey Larranage of Velarde/Santa Fe; grandparents, Norris and Nancy Martinez of Cuarteles and Pauline Apodaca of Santa Fe; great-grandparents, Abel and Alexandria DeVargas of Albuquerque; great-grandfather, Nelson Martinez of Truchas; uncle/nino, Jesse Martinez and wife Geraldine of Española; aunt/nina, Janet Apodaca of Velarde; three very close cousins, Jared Apodaca and companion Kirsten Martinez of Santa Fe, Shanice Martinez and Kylie Martinez and companion Estevan Borrego of Española and many other loving relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at The Lighthouse Church in Chimayo with a devotional service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also at The Lighthouse Church in Chimayo. Burial to follow at the Mount Calvary Cemetery, located at 1900 Edith N.E. in Albuquerque with the following serving as pallbearers, Jacob Martinez, Tito Terraras, Mathew Cordova, Jared Apodaca, Shanice Martinez, and Kylie Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be; Angie Pacheco, Isaac Morales, Christopher Savedra, Ashley Trujillo, Robert Gonzales, Ray DePaula, Janet Apodaca and Jesse Martinez. The family of Isaiah Apodaca has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
