Isabel E. - age 67 - Penasco Garcia

Isabel E. Garcia, 67, a resident of Penasco, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Monday, June 2, 2014. Isabel was preceded in death by her parents, Rosinaldo and Mercedes Romero; sisters, Perfie Vigil, Flori Rodriguez; in-laws, Leopoldo and Sofiria Garcia. Isabel was a loving compassionate person who loved her family unconditionally. Her favorite past time was working on word search puzzles and watching movies. She had a sense of humor that could fill up any room with smiles and laughter bringing so much joy to those around her. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Isabel is survived by her husband of 49 years Jose I. Garcia; children, Barbara Garcia, Harvey Garcia, Johnny Garcia, and William Garcia; grandchildren, Jose L. Garcia (Joey), Anikka Garcia, Anastacia Garcia, Lorenzo Garcia, great-children, Jazmeen, Isabella, Jeffery; sisters, Laura Rendon and husband Tony, Priscilla Salazar, brothers, Jose Romero, Rosinaldo Romero Jr. and wife Bernie, Octavio Romero and wife Mariquita, Johnny Romero, Albert Romero, Leroy Romero and wife Irene, plus numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a devotional service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at Santo Tomas Catholic Church in Ojo Sarco, with a burial to follow at Santo Tomas Catholic Cemetery in Ojo Sarco, with the following serving as pallbearers Barbara Garcia, Harvey Garcia, Johnny Garcia, William Garcia, Lorenzo Garcia, and Jose L. (Joey) Garcia. The family of Isabel E. Garcia has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n \r\n
