Go Isaac Padilla "ICE", (50), of Truchas, New Mexico passed away on Februray 03, 2025.
Isaac was affectionately known as ICE, was born to Elijio and Virgina Padilla on January 29, 1975, in Los Alamos, NM. Isaac worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory as a laborer and then transferred to TA 54. After leaving Los Alamos he worked for Kit Carson as a Lineman for a few years. Isaac took great pride in the work he did no matter how simple or how hard the job was. He took his time to make sure things were done right. Isaac had many hobbies, he enjoyed woodwork, making birdhouses, benches, swings, frames, and sketches and that he gave to all his loved ones. Isaac really enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a part of the Hoggs and Heifers for a while and attended many bike rallies with Frances and friends. Before losing his brother, they would get together and go for long rides on their Harleys. Everyone that knew Isaac, knew him for his outgoing personality and big heart. Isaac never judged anyone and was always willing to help anyone in need. Isaac also enjoyed cooking and making good meals for his family. Isaac was very protective of the people he cared about, especially his sisters and his mom and dad.
Isaac was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Juan Padilla, Nicanor Torrez, Margarita Torrez; maternal grandparents Antonio and Susie Atencio; brother Elijio Padilla Jr.; sister Connie Padilla; uncles Pres Padilla; Alfredo Padilla, Paul Garcia and Vicente Atencio; aunts Angie Duran and Ernestine Locklear (Gene); cousins Filberto Dominguez, Cheyenne Archuleta and Manuel Romero Jr.
Isaac is survived by his father Elijio and mother Virginia Padilla whom he had a special bond with and a special place in his heart for; sisters, Sandra Padilla (Michael Herrera) and Karen Martinez (Paul); girlfriend Frances Lopez; children Isaac Padilla Jr., Isaiah Padilla and Ashley Giatan who was like a daugther to him; nephews Dante Quintana (Adrianna), Nikko Casados and Gabriel Martinez; uncles Manuel Romero (Dorothy), Juan Atencio (Liz) and Donald Atencio (Marie); aunts Marcella Martinez (Larry), Mary Garcia, Stella Padilla and many more relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at DeVargas Funeral Home Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 6:00 pm.
