Irene Age - 82 - La Mesilla (Vigil) Ferber

Irene (Vigil) Ferber, 82, a resident of La Mesilla passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Santa Fe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Acension (Lopez) and Dionicio Vigil; brothers: Richard, Mario, Adolf, Eugene, Leo and Dionicio “Jr.;” sisters: Ruth Vigil, Cora Martinez and Stella Maestas. Irene is survived by her husband of 61 years, William “Bill” Ferber; son, Harold and wife Kathy; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers: Albert and Richard H.; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives & friends; her beloved dog, Chelsea; Memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory burial will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. The family of Irene (Vigil) Ferber have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
