Inez - Age 87 - Canjilon - Leyba

INEZ S. LEYBA, 87, a resident of Canjilon passed away on Monday, October 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Nonato Leyba; son, Clorence S. Leyba; daughter, Ignacita (Cita) Leyba; sisters, Domitilia Gallegos, Leonor Hinojosa, Guadalupe Lujan and Clorinda Rosales and brothers, Jose Querino, Gilberto and Cristobal Sandoval. Inez was a loving and caring person. She enjoyed making blankets and going to the casino. She was loved very much and will be missed dearly. Mrs. Leyba is survived by her children, Richard Leyba (Eva), Pat Leyba, Geraldine Garcia (Ernesto), Irene V. Martinez, Louise Leyba, Eloy Leyba, Mikey Leyba, Nena Archuleta (Luis), Louie Leyba, Patti Saiz and Clyde Leyba; 26 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Leo Leyba (Dorothy); sister-in-law, Julia Maes and numerous other relatives and friends. Public visitation will begin on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in Canjilon with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. also at the San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in Canjilon. Burial to follow at the Canjilon Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Richard Leyba, Jr., Ernesto Garcia, Jr., Patricio Leyba, Jr., David Martinez, Andy Archuleta and Daniel Leyba. The family of Inez S. Leyba has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
