Inez - Age 70 - Tierra Amarilla Garcia

INEZ “INNIE” GARCIA, 70, a resident of Tierra Amarilla, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010 following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Eufemia Garcia; sister, Maria Luisa; brother, Eddie Garcia; nephew, Ricky Garcia and sister-in-law, Odelia Garcia. She was a lifelong resident of Tierra Amarilla. She was a devout catholic and a parishioner of Santo Niño Catholic Church. She loved watching novellas and baby sitting children. She loved and was loved by her family who will miss her dearly. Ms. Garcia is survived by her nephews, Juan Martinez, Miguel, Diego Gonzales and Phillip Garcia; nieces, Pebbles Garcia, Raquel Chavez, Maria Lisa Gonzales and Miranda Buffett; grandchildren, Cortez Martinez and Jacobo Chavez all of Tierra Amarilla; sisters, Elaine Chavez and husband Fernando of Tierra Amarilla, Pinky Gonzales of Santa Fe, Catherine Martinez and husband Julio of Tierra Amarilla, Dulcinia “Candy” Olguin of La Mesilla, Becky Moya and husband Donald; brother, Bernardo Garcia of Tierra Amarilla; and numerous other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. A rosary will be recited on Friday, April 30, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Santo Niño Catholic Church in Tierra Amarilla. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Santo Niño Catholic Church in Tierra Amarilla. Burial to follow at the Los Ojos Catholic Cemetery. The Garcia family has entrusted their loving Inez to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
