Horacio Garcia

Horacio N. Garcia 55 years of age from Chimayo, NM passed away peacefully on Sunday September 19th, 2021. Horacio entered this world on August 17th, 1966, born to Gilbert and Grace Garcia.  Horacio was the fourth sibling out of seven of the Garcia family.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Garcia; brothers, Calvin “Polo”, Gilbert Jr., Ernie, Dennis Garcia and his lovely sister Gina Jaramillo.

Horacio loved spending time with his family especially his mother Grace he always counted on their morning cup of coffee, he enjoyed the outdoors fishing at Santa Cruz Lake and also liked doing artwork in his early years of age. Horacio was caring and was always willing to help anyone in need. Horacio will always be remembered for his laughter and loving spirit. Horacio will be dearly missed by all his family, friends and loved ones.

Horacio is survived by his son Nicholas Garcia; loving mother, Grace Garcia, brother; Steven Garcia (Roberta), longtime companion; Cassie Garcia, step children; Mark Anthony and Juan Carlos Garcia  grandchildren; Kailey, Lukus and Matthew Garcia, brother in law Marvyn Jaramillo, close sister in law; Nancy Garcia and close nieces and nephews, Miranda Gordon (Tony),  Steven Garcia Jr (Christina),  Ernesto Garcia, Shyann Garcia, Anthony Garcia (Danielle), Justyce and Calvin Jaramillo, Santiago and Andres Garcia and Jose Gonzales as well as numerous nephews and nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends.

Memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a burial to follow at Nuestra Senora de Dolores Cemetery in Chimayo.

Due to the COVID-19  family request Mask be worn and no more then 75 People at Services.

Serving the family as honorary pallbearers Steven Garcia Jr, Ernesto Garcia Jr, Calvin Jaramillo, Mark Garcia, Juan Carlos Garcia and Tony Gordon.
