HENRY A. GUTIERREZ, 63, a resident of Española, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gomecindo and Gabriella Gutierrez; parents who raised him, Marcello and Theresa Roybal; 1 sister-in-law; 3 brothers-in-law and friend, James Quintana. Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his daughters, Lisa Gutierrez of California and Yvonne Gutierrez of Colorado; sister, Clara Jaramillo-Chapman and husband John Chapman of White Rock; brother and caregiver, Martin Roybal of Española; grandchildren, Leo and LeAnn of California and Enrique, Angelina and Crystal Rose Gutierrez of Colorado and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation is being planned. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Memorial mass will take place on Wednesday, April 21st at 2:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada, burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. The Gutierrez family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
