Henry Trujillo, 79, a resident of Espanola (La Mesilla), passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Henry was full of life and enjoyed being around family and friends. He loved, visited, helped and cared for many people throughout his life. He thanks you for coming to visit and praying with him these past few months when he could not go visit you. We all know Henry for the passion he had for his farm and making use of the land that our Lord has so graciously loaned us. He enjoyed boxing matches and going to baseball games was a big treat for him and his friends. Henry’s love for life and people allowed him to do and accomplish many things. He traveled, hunted, danced, enjoyed the great outdoors, and most of the time he was a true servant of the community. Our memories of him will live forever. Henry was preceded in death by his parents Jose Lorenzo and Josefina Trujillo; brothers, Arturo, Lorenzo, Moe (Atanacio), and Phillipito Trujillo; brother-in-law, Manual Chavez; sisters-in-law, Chiah (Elisida), and Beverly Trujillo; father and mother-in-Law, Ernesto and Ernestina Romero; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Henry is survived by his wife, Isabel R. Trujillo; daughters, Clarissa, Bernadine, and Yvette; and son Henry Trujillo Jr.; brother, Candido; sisters, Lucrecia and Jenny; brother in- law, Horacio; sisters- in – law, Magda and Rose; son-in-Laws, Ricky, William,David and Rick B.; respectively; grandchildren: Ricky II, Jeremy, Angelica, Micaela, Anthony, Jesse, Shayla, Lucas, Jessica, Christina, and Nicole respectively; great-grandchildren: Ricky III, Ilikea, Olivia, Raelle and Liam; 11 God Children and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 1:00p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. A second rosary will be recited also on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 7:00p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00a.m. also at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. A meal will follow at the Knights of Columbus in Arroyo Seco. Cremation will follow services and burial will be held at a later date.
