Helen Age - 87 - Las Cruces/Las Vegas, NV Montoya

Helen Montoya – Age 87 a resident of Las Cruces, NM / Las Vegas, Nevada and formerly of San Pedro passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio & Delfina Lujan; brother, Frank Lujan; husband, Joe Montoya; and her daughters: Theresa Martinez & Debbie Smith; and her first husband, Antonio Quintana; grandson, Stephen Eric Martinez. Helen is survived by her children: Virginia and Mary Ann Quintana both of Las Vegas, Nevada, Emily Quintana of Las Cruces, NM, Jerry Quintana of Jerome, Idaho; grandchildren: Christopher, Kimberly and Jacob Smith, Kathleen Paul, Michael and Jeffrey Martinez; great-grandchildren: Sean, Shane, Toni and Audria Martinez, Alise and Julia Paul, Ethan and Maria Martinez; sisters: Isabelle Rodriguez-Corona and Sophie Manzanares; brothers: Juan Lujan, Raymond Lujan and wife Isabelle. Helen loved her family and would always have a “pot of beans” ready for you when you went to see her. She loved fishing, but mainly she loved her family and having them over with a mi casa es su casa hospitality. She was very much loved by all. A rosary will be recited on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral, 1240 S. Espina Street, Las Cruces, NM. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral. Burial will follow at the Masonic Cemetery, 760 South Compress Road, Las Cruces, NM.
