Helen - Age 82 - Santa Fe/Cerrillos Simoni

HELEN D. SIMONI, 82, a resident of Santa Fe/Cerrillos, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Simoni. She retired from the Manderfield Headstart as the head cook in Santa Fe. Mrs. Simoni is survived by her children, Rosina Simoni-Vargas and husband Michael, Pauline Vargas and husband Richard and Charles Simoni and wife Vera all of Santa Fe; special grandson, Johnny Simoni; grandchildren, Michelle Vargas, Edwina Vargas, Maggie Romero and husband Leonard “Mikey”, Melissa and Charlotte Simoni, Vanessa Vargas, Charlie Simoni, Paul Vargas, Michael Simoni-Vargas, Josie Vargas, Alex Salazar Jr., Monique Lujan, Leonard Romero Jr., Mariah Salazar, Brandy Rose Lujan, Aylnna Romero, Jaiden Carrillo and many other grandchildren, relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cerrillos. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. also at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cerrillos. Burial to follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers, Michael Vargas, Charlie Simoni, Paul Vargas, Johnny Simoni, Leonard Romero and Danny Lucero. The Simoni family has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.\r\n
