Helen - Age 79 - Los Alamos Washburn

Helen J. Washburn, 79, a resident of Los Alamos, passed peacefully\r\nfrom her earthly home to her heavenly Home on Saturday, December 17,\r\n2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Anna (Scheerens)\r\nJohnson, and brother, Paul Johnson. Helen is survived by her\r\ndaughters, Barbara Hanson and husband Steve of Los Alamos, Linda\r\nDeLaTorre and husband Joe of Las Cruces, and Debra Clark and husband\r\nKennedy of Vienna, VA. She is also survived by her brother Raymond\r\nJohnson and wife Kerry of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Christel Hanson,\r\nScott Hanson and wife Fawn, Stephanie Yeamans and husband Pat,\r\nRhiannon Ferguson and husband Jeff, Patrick Ondelacy and wife Ruth,\r\nand Madison and Mason Clark; the father of her children, Beverly\r\nWashburn of Albuquerque, and 5 great grandchildren. She will be\r\nremembered for her humor, her dignity, her gracious compassion and\r\ntender love. In lieu of flowers, it was Helen's wish that a donation\r\nbe made to either Hope Pregnancy Center of Los Alamos, or Los Alamos\r\nVisiting Nurse Service. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday,\r\nDecember 28, at 11 AM, at the Christian Church of Los Alamos, 92 East Road. The family of Helen J.
