Hector Vanchaik, 49, a resident of Espanola, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Public visitation will begin on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory, with a rosary to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz, with a burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. The Family of Hector Vanchaik has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
