Hector - Age 29 - Chimayo - Martinez

Hector M. Martinez, Age 29, formerly of Chimayó passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Hector loved spending time outdoors going camping and fishing and enjoyed walking his dog “Precious,: and spending time with his children and his wife where he resided in Velarde. He enjoyed listening to oldies and Christian music. HeHetor was always willing to help anyone in need and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Most of all Hector loved being a father and husband; he loved his 4 beautiful girls with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly (Bambi) Martinez; maternal grandfather, Cicilio Martinez; paternal grandparents, Arlo and Cordelia Martinez; aunt, Edna Martinez; and uncles Ronald Martinez, Arlo Martinez Jr. and Gilbert Martinez. \r\nHector is survived by his loving wife Charlotte Martinez; three beautiful daughters: Nevaeh 8, Serenity 14 months, and Liliana 6 weeks; father, Zacarias Martinez Sr. of Chimayó; sister, Ramoncita Martinez (children Michael and Beverly) of Chimayó; brothers Jerome Martinez (Beverly and children Destiny and Josh) of Española; Zacarias II (companion Veronica and child Zacarias III) of Albuquerque; maternal grandmother, Lily Martinez of Chimayó; God Son, Michael Padilla of Chimayó; uncles, Michael B. Martinez (Eremita and children Michael Mark and companion Amanda, Tilo and wife Veronica and children Tilo Jr. and Callen, Bernardo and companion Nicole, John and companion Racquel, C.C. and Michelle) all of La Puebla; Michael I. Martinez (Diane and children Cecilia, Derick and Luca) of Angel Fire; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. \r\nPublic visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at The Rock in Española with burial to follow at La Puebla Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Angela Martinez, Jacob Martinez, Michael Padilla, Robert Garcia, Bernardo Martinez and Jesse Vigil. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Jerome Martinez, Pablo Vigil, Jesse Maestas, Josphina Martinez, Arlo David Martinez, Tilo Martinez, Frankie Dixon, Delvin Maestas, Ivan Maestas, Fabian Archuleta, Labrie Garcia, Adel Valdez, Jerome Naranjo, Julian and Nick Martinez, Gerald Dixon, Jesse Moya, Keith Romero, Joseph Vigil, Juan Martinez, Joser Martinez and Isaac Martinez.
