Harry “Len” Lynn Martinez, 83, a resident of Petaca passed away from a lengthy illness on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. He loved carpentry, hauling wood, cutting wood, and hunting He was a great musician and loved to play the guitar. He enjoyed spending time with all his grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Teodoro and Fermeliana Martinez; 4 brothers; 3 sisters. Harry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lorence Martinez of Petaca; children: Pauline M. Gallegos of Petaca, Peter L. Martinez and wife Hermelinda of Petaca/Ojo Caliente, Peggy L. Martinez and husband Mike of Petaca; grandchildren: Denise Gallegos, Angel Manzanares, Juliette Gallegos, Denille Duran, Harry Lynn “Lenny” Martinez, Peter D., Lilliana, Peter Lynn Jr., Ricardo C., and Miranda C. Martinez, Darryl C. “Charley” Garcia Jr., Nicholas S. Garcia and Jessica L. Martinez; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews & other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a devotional service to be held at 6:00 p.m. The family of Harry “Len” Lynn Martinez has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley. 505-747-7477
