Grace Age - 55 - Chamita Bustos

Grace Bustos, 55, a resident of Chamita passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Grace was known as a loving, caring, strong, patient independent mom and grandma who loved gardening and fishing and most of all her Chihuahua. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Grace loved spending time with her granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Sena; brother, Joe Sena; companion, Felipe Romero; grandmother, Josefa Varos; great-aunt, Crestina Lopez. Grace is survived by her daughters: Jessica Bustos and companion Brian Trujillo of Chamita, Jennie Bustos and companion Damian Chavez of Albuquerque; son, Joe Bustos of Belen; granddaughter, Zoe Sandoval of Chamita; many other close friends and relatives. A rosary will be recited on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial to follow at the Chamita Community Cemetery. Reception will be in the Chamita Community Center following the burial. The family of Grace Bustos has entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
