Grace Trujillo

GRACE TRUJILLO, 91, a resident of Cordova, went peacefully to her eternal rest on Sunday, August 25, 2019, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was kind, friendly, peaceful and she loved having her family and friends around her. A woman of faith, she was a devout Catholic and a lifelong member of the Sagrada Familia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Avenicio and Onofre Fernandez, husband Crisol Trujillo, infant daughters Ruby and Betty Lou, stillborn daughter, stillborn son; son-in-law, Gilbert Towles; in-laws, Vidal and Rosarito Trujillo; sister-in-law, Prescilla Romero and brother-in-law, Archie Trujillo; sisters, Simosea (Fidel), Erminia (Antonio), Sabinita (Servando), Selia (Juan), Ruth, brothers Atanacio, Emiliano (Elisia), and Arsenio (Eufelia); sister-in-law, Bernadita Fernandez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles whom were all very special to her. She is survived by her children and their respective spouses, Joan, Pete (Connie), Loretta, Doris (Jeff), and Chris (Shirley); she was blessed with numerous grandchildren, Vanessa (Lesley), Kimberly (Joey), Leroy (Valerie), Gerard, Cadence, Kendall, Matthew, Jessica (TJ), Aubrey, Stephanie (Julian), and Shayla. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Chimayo, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at the San Antonio Cemetery in Cordova, with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Pete, Chris, Leroy, Jeff, Matthew, and Lee Fernandez, honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
