Grace Gomez

Garce Lujan Gomez

January 3, 1944 – July 24, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Grace was born and raised in Jaconita and was the youngest of seven children. She was a wonderful, kind person. She never complained about her illness. She looked forward to visits with family.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward Gomez, son Kevin Gomez, son John Gomez, granddaughter Kayla Gomez, parents Felix and Josefita Lujan, brothers Don Lujan and wife Laura, Benito Lujan and wife Josie, sisters Viola Mascarenas and husband Paul, Isabel Roybal, brother-in-law Adenois Roybal, father-in-law and mother-in-law.

She is survived by her son Danny Gomez (Selina), granddaughter Reyna Gomez (Caleb), grandson Kevin Gomez Jr., great granddaughters Janae and Jaylene, sisters Angie Roybal, Reynalda Gonzales (Gilbert), and special uncle Joe (Trankie) Roybal, many nephews, nieces, and friends.

We would like to thank the wonderful nurses and caregivers from Giving who helped care for Grace throughout the years. She loved and appreciated them.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pojoaque, NM. Burial to follow.
