GLORIA VICTORIA SALAZAR
, 53, a resident of Hernandez, born January 3, 1966, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Priscilla Roybal and David Leopoldo Roybal; sister, Stella Roybal; niece, Ana Marie Ojeda; father-in-law, Paul E. Salazar; grandparents, Feliz Lujan and Leopoldo Lujan, Juanita E. Garcia and Juan Salazar. Gloria is survived by the love of her life, Leopoldo B. Salazar of Hernandez; two stepdaughters, Kayla Anguiano and husband Victor Jr. and Esperanza Salazar and companion Santiago of El Rito; one special grandson, Anjel’leo, and a future grandchild on the way; sister, Denise Ojeda and husband Raul of Santa Fe; in-laws, Donelia Griego and Tony of Hernandez; sisters-in-law, Martha Garcia and husband Alvaro of Hernandez, Eileen Griego; brother-in-law, Eppie Griego both of Hernandez; five nieces and two nephews, two great-grandnieces and one great-grand nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz with the Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Santa Cruz with the following serving the family as pallbearers, Alvaro Garcia, Henry Trujillo, Jesse Chavez, Harold Jr. Vigil, Adan Hernandez, and Marvin Pacheco, honorary pallbearers are Raul Ojeda, nieces, nephews and Godchildren. The family of Gloria Victoria Salazar has entrusted the care of their loved one to the DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Espanola Valley.
