GINGER MARIE JARAMILLO, 41, a resident of Española and formerly of Abiquiu, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe I. and Ramoncita Salazar; paternal grandparents, Geronimo and Sedelia G. Jaramillo; aunts and uncles, Leroy and Carol Salazar and baby Johnny and cousins, Jennifer and Joseph Salazar. Ginger retired from the Los Alamos National Laboratory and earned a Masters degree in Business from Highlands University. She loved to dance, garden, take care of her roses and had a passion for cooking and baking. She had a loving personality and loved to make everyone happy. She loved her children and family dearly and lived her life to the fullest. Ms. Jaramillo is survived by her children, Amanda Villareal and Tommy Lee Villareal of Alcalde; husband, Juan Antonio Candelaria of Española; father of her children, Hector Villareal of Alcalde; parents, Archie and Julia Jaramillo of Abiquiu; sister, Cindy Martinez and husband Anthony; brothers, Michael Jaramillo and wife Paula all of Amarillo, Texas and Jerome Jaramillo and wife Holly of Española; nieces and nephews, Dianna Martinez and companion Victor Velasquez and Amber Martinez, Jazmyn Jaramillo, Cloie, Sonya and Kaléo Jaramillo; God-parents, Theresa Romero, Betty Salazar and Eugenio Jaramillo; aunts and uncles, Napoleon and Helen Salazar, Mary and Benny Serrano, Eloy and MaryLou Salazar, Joe I. and Isabel Salazar, Betty Salazar, John Alex and Mabel Salazar, Theresa Romero, Raymond and Therese Salazar, Lucy and Loren Abercrombie, Danny and Claudie Salazar, Annette and Kevin Joseph, Judy and Leroy Martinez; great-uncles/great-aunts: Solomon and Erma Jaramillo, Margaret Valdez, Alice and Sam Hedrick, Joe and Wilma Salazar, Lillian Trujillo, Uvaldo and Susie Salazar, Carlos Montoya and Herman Salazar; and numerous close cousins and other relatives and neighbors. Public visitation will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Abiquiu with burial to follow at Abiquiu Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Tommy Lee Villareal, Michael and Jerome Jaramillo, Peter Salazar, Ron Lujan and Manuel Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers named are her God-children, Dianna and Amber Martinez, Michelle Archuleta and Alyssa Aguilar; nephew, Kaléo Jaramillo, Special friends, Victor Velasquez, Valerie Martinez, Jerry Norris, Frances Archuleta.
