Gilda Margaret - age 67 - Los Alamos Kave

GILDA MARGARET KAVE MAY 28, 1946 - JULY 14, 2014\r\n \r\nGilda Kave of Los Alamos, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the age of 67.\r\nShe was born in Paterson, New Jersey on May 28, 1946 and moved to Los Alamos in 1979. She was a nurse at Los Alamos Medical Center for over twenty years and most recently was a nurse at Aspen Ridge. \r\nShe was preceded in death by her mother, Regina Verzino (Noti) and her father, William John Verzino. She is survived by her four children, Jill Mayo, Gina Smith, Anthony Kave and Dominic Kave; her brother, William Verzino and her beloved Matt Custer. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She served as President of the John D. Gamble Auxiliary 8874 in Los Alamos from July 2010 to the date of her death. A rosary will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos. A reception will held at the VFW Post 8874 immediately following the funeral mass. The family of Gilda Kave has entrusted their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
