Gilbert Felix Age - 60 - Santa Cruz Garcia

Gilbert Felix Garcia, 60, a resident of Santa Cruz passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. He worked at Zia Contractor in Los Alamos, NM for numerous years. Gilbert was a very talented weaver for Ortega’s Weaving in Chimayo, NM. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Erminia Garcia; grandson, Adrian G. Garcia Jr.; brothers: Anthony, Ruben and Manuel; sister, Cisnel. Gilbert is survived by his son, Adrian Garcia and wife Camille of Rio Rancho, NM; daughter, Audrey Garcia-Alvardo and husband Juan of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren: Analyssa, Amorette, Nathaniel, Devon, Brandon and Maliah; companion, June Galvan; companions children: Carla Baca and husband Rubel, Perla Martinez and husband Noel and Antonio Galvan; mother of his children, Judy Garcia; sisters: Annabelle Noga and husband Robert, Angela Griego and husband Waldy, Linda Garcia and husband Ruben; brothers: Rudy Garcia, Ernesto Garcia and wife Carol, Fabian Garcia; numerous other loving relatives & friends. Public visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory with a rosary to follow at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada with burial to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Nathaniel Garcia, Alex and Lance Griego, Randy Garcia, Fabian Garcia Jr. and Antonio Galvan; honorary pallbearers: Rubel and Carla Baca, Noel and Perla Martinez. The family of Gilbert Felix Garcia have entrusted the care of their loved one to DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory of the Española Valley.
