Gilbert Mascareñas

Our precious son Gilbert P. Mascarenas, Jr. "Bubba", 16, went to heaven on November 25, 2016. Since the day he was born he was a blessing to us all. " Bubba" was preceded in death by his infant uncle Bryan Mascarenas;  great-maternal grandparents, George and Lillian Lucero; great-paternal grandparents Procopio and Cornelia Mascarenas and Jose and Beatrice Gurule. He displayed strength, courage and determination all the days of his life.  He loved deeply, which in turn, gave us all strength and courage. This beautiful angel was born to Gilbert Mascarenas and Tisha Tyler on January 27, 2000.  He is survived by his parents Gilbert and Tisha; brothers, Donovan & Dante Mascarenas; special cousin/sister, Bianca Contreras; maternal grandparents, Marie Tyler and Robert (Norma) Tyler, paternal grandparents, Soraida Mascarenas and Eloy Mascarenas;  uncles and Aunts, Bobby (Benita) Tyler, Eloy ( Angelica ) Mascarenas, Edwin Mascarenas, Lynda (David) Sanchez, Dolores (Jose) Contreras, Natalie Tyler, and Janine (Nick) Balentine; cousins; Chance, Quinn, and Tate Tyler;  Myriah Mascarenas; David, Roxanne (Joseph), and Amaris Sanchez; Connor and Camryn Wagner;. Aria Balentine and many numerous great-aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Special friend, Beth Grimm. The world has many heroes, my heroes name is Bubba.  We, his family are forever grateful for all the love and support Gilbert received all the days of his life and the support & love we continue to receive during this trying time. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 6:00p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 6:30p.m. The family of Gilbert P.
